The KZN Youth Development Foundation’s Held a Study Easy program at the Florida Food Hub, in July 2025, where individuals were empowered with effective study techniques and helped them discover their own learning styles.The program had some awesome outcomes. Students reported improved grades and confidence in tackling exams. One student discovered she’s a visual learner and now uses mind maps to ace her tests. The program also had a motivational speaker who shared tips on managing stress and staying focused. The students benefited from the Study Easy program, and walked away with new study skills and confidence. The visual learner who rocked mind maps is a great example of how tailored approaches can make a difference.
Drone Racing
Teaching underprivileged youths drone racing creates opportunities for skills development in technology, aviation, and creative industries. Through hands-on FPV training, participants learn coordination, problem-solving, and discipline while gaining exposure to real career paths in drone piloting, engineering, and media. The program builds confidence, encourages innovation, and provides a positive pathway into the fast-growing drone and AI industry.

Teaching underprivileged youth drone repair equips them with valuable technical skills in electronics, diagnostics, and maintenance. Through hands-on training, participants learn how to troubleshoot, service, and rebuild drones, opening pathways into careers in the growing drone and technology sectors. The program fosters problem-solving, independence, and entrepreneurship, enabling young people to generate income while supporting the expanding demand for drone services and repairs.
Drone Pilots
Teaching underprivileged youth drone flying provides practical skills in aviation, technology, and safety. Through hands-on flight training, participants learn control, navigation, and real-world operational awareness, preparing them for opportunities in industries such as media, inspections, and mapping.
